Large or numerous items must be delivered between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Deliveries that fall into this category are never permitted on weekends.
Delivery of small items
If a package for you is received and signed for by the Superintendent, he will put a note on your mail box informing you of its arrival. You may contact the Superintendent between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, to pick up your package. If you prefer that the Superintendent leave deliveries inside your apartment or outside the door of your apartment, you must mail or fax the management company a letter authorizing him to do so. Delivery of large items
If you are having large items delivered, such as furniture, appliances or building materials, you must inform the Superintendent in advance and he must be present during the delivery. He will place padding inside the elevator to prevent damage to the cab.
Please note: Any Unit Owner or rental tenant who does not follow the rules regarding deliveries may be assessed a fine of up to $1,000.
Damage to the building
Any repairs required because of damage done to any part of the building during a delivery will be billed to the Unit Owner. If you are a rental tenant, the charges will be billed to the owner of your unit. It is between you and your landlord to settle these charges.
Packing materials and debris from deliveries
Inform the Superintendent if the person delivering your item(s) does not take the boxes, wrapping and/or packing materials away. Do not block the hallway and recycling area in the basement by discarding them there without notifying the Superintendent.
Dimensions of the elevator
The approximate dimensions of the elevator are 49" deep, 105" high and 77" wide. The door when open is 41" wide and 83" high.
